  • It can best be summed up by the tenets of the GOLDEN RULE. No, not the 'He who has the Gold makes the Rules' but the original 'Do onto Others...' version.

  • I prize fast transactions and will do everything in my power to facilitate a smooth, friendly and quick execution of your order.

  • It is so often repeated as to have almost lost all meaning HOWEVER, I DO MEAN IT SINCERELY - Your complete satisfaction is the single most important facet of any transaction. I take it very seriously and will be happy to arrange for a refund/replacement if you are not thrilled (well at least very happy..... happy.... well, how about pleased) with your purchase.

    ~~~ Purchases Made through the EDSONIAN Museum Store ~~~


    1. Email or FAX EDSONIAN a list of the item(s) you are interested in. Besure to include Item Number(s), Description(s), Price(s) AND your shipping address. For your convenience I have created a special very simple ORDER FORM which may be filled out and automatically emailed OR can be printed and FAXED OR even snail mailed to me if desired.

    2. I will respond via e-Mail (almost always within 24hrs) with a confirmation that the item(s) you requested are indeed available and include SHIPPING OPTIONS for your consideration. The items will then be place on hold, for 10 days, pending receipt of your payment.

    3. After you receive my confirmation, please respond with your prefered shipping and PAYMENT METHOD.

    4. I will again confirm recipt of your e-Mail, shipping and payment methods and extend the hold on your selection(s) to 14 days. Please send your payment within 3 days.

    5. After I receive your payment, I will once again send you a confirmation via e-mail (I Love E-Mail ... can you tell). Your package will now be shipped according to the SHIPPING HOLDS guidelines.

    6. I will again e-mail you confirming when the package is actually on it's way and include any available tracking information.

    7. I will follow up at 3 to 4 day intervals (or until I hear from you) to verify that you have received the package, that all is in order and that you are happy with your purchase.

    During the Auction


  • Please Email me with any questions you have about the items before bidding.

  • Buyers with negative or hidden feedback PLEASE DO NOT BID. I reserve the right to refuse bids from those buyers who think bidding is a game and have demonstrated it by not following through at the conclusion of the auction.

  • Ocasionally I sell items that are difficult or even impossible to ship outside the United States. In those cases I will clearly post the restriction, US BIDDERS ONLY with the item. The affected items are usually computer related (hardware and software).


    After the Auction


    1. Following the conclusion of the auction, we will (almost always) contact the High Bidder within 24 hours.

    2. High Bidders please contact us with your shipping information by either responding to our initial e-mail (within 3 days) or by making 'First Contact' yourself - always greatly appreciated.

    3. I do rarely use reserves and in the event that one is not met, the high bidder is invited to make an offer on the item. I am always interested in selling and will reveal the reserve to the high bidder and seriously consider offers. The high bidder gets the first opportunity to negotiate a purchase price. I extend this as a courtesy in gratitude for taking the time and trouble to bid. However to be fair, I will impose a 3 day deadline (beginning at the conclusion of the auction) after which this option will expire. At that point I will be free to consider other offers or re-list the item at my discretion.

    4. After deciding on SHIPPING methods and costs it is the bidders responsibility to forward PAYMENT in a timely manner.

    5. After I receive your payment, I will once again send you a confirmation via e-mail (I Love E-Mail ... can you tell). Your package will now be shipped according to the SHIPPING HOLDS guidelines.

    6. I will again e-mail you confirming when the package is actually on it's way and include any available tracking information.

    7. I will follow up at 3 to 4 day intervals (or until I hear from you) to verify that you have received the package, that all is in order and that you are happy with your purchase.

    8. After the package is received I will post positive feedback in the Feedback Forum on eBay™ and I hope you will do the same. I believe this to be one of eBay's™ greatest features and I ALWAYS use it and hope you do to.

    WARRANTY: There are no Warranties expressed or implied (unless specifically agreed to - in writing - before shipment). The very nature of 'Vintage' equipment makes this necessary. I will do my very best to explain fairly both the good and bad points of each piece and strongly recommend that more valuable items be insured so that any damage or loss incurred during shipment will be covered by the shipper. I am not responsible for damages or losses that occur after I 'mail' the item to you.

    GUARANTEE: All items are Guaranteed to be genuine (unless otherwise stated) and as such are covered by our lifetime refund warranty if it should be proven otherwise. Upon receiving satisfactory proof that an item sold as genuine is determined not to be so, there are several ways we can proceed:

  • If a satisfactory replacement is available, I will offer it for your consideration.
  • Provide 'Store Credit' to allow the selection of another item.
  • Refund the original purchase amount to the original purchasor.

    After the item in question has been returned, I will be happy to do any of these. In addition, I will also refund/cover all shipping costs incurred during this transaction. My goal here as in all my dealings is to correct the problem as smoothly and happly as possible.

    PAYMENT METHOD: Currently, I accept payment in Cash, Money Orders, Certified or Personal Checks for US customers AND International Money Orders or Cash (in US Dollars) from International Buyers. Please remit payment within 3 days.

    I plan accept credit cards in the near future however I am unable to honor them at this time.

    SHIPPING OPTIONS: For insured US mail (USPS), it is normally $3.20 to $5.00 and $0.85 for insurance for smaller items (calculators, coins, books, etc.) within the USA. More of course for larger items (computers, video games, etc.) or for shipping outside the USA. However final amounts will vary by package size, weight, destination and shipping method. Where possible, I will advise and give you several shipping options/suggestions with associated costs and let you make the final selection on prefered carrier. After processing 100's of orders I have found that in almost all cases good-old USPS is the best. Since I always charge only actual shipping costs (NEVER A HANDLING, PACKING OR MATERIALS FEE) it is the best overall value for your money. UPS or FEDX should only be used when package tracking/overnight delivery is a priority.

    SHIPPING HOLDS: Payments via Certified Checks, Cash or Money Orders results in fastest shipping (24 hours or less as long as the weekend does not interfere). I also reserve the right to allow personal checks to clear (usually 10 business days) and will do so usually for new customers. Once we have established a business relationship I will almost always ship on recipt of payment. I view this as a reward for timely payments and to acknowledge my appreciation and gratitude for your repeat business.

    For items purchased through eBay™ Auctions, I will use all methods at my disposal to determine what, if any, delay to impose. Feedback rating, comments, prior purchase record, etc. and will at my discretion wave any holds as a reward to those who demonstrate responsibility and take their business dealings seriously.

    REFUNDS, REPLACEMENTS & ADJUSTMENTS:
  • Please make any requests for returns or adjustments within 10 days of your recipt of the package. Refer to GUARANTEE for exceptions.

  • Contact the EDSONIAN first! Let us know the reason for your dissatisfaction. After all you did initiate the purchase therefore expressing a special interest in the item (We are avid collectors ourselves and understand this as well as anyone). To be unhappy now indicates to us that after receiving it - something must have failed to meet your expatiations. Quite possibly there is something we can do to 'make it right'. If there is anything that we can do to correct the situation, we will. However, having failed that, we will gladly make arrangements to return the item(s) in question.

  • The item(s) must be returned in the original shipping carton with the original packing. In addition, in the case of coins, collector cards, comics, etc. they must remain and be returned in their original holders.

    With USPS Priority or Express shipments this may not be possible due to the 'one-time' nature of their boxes. However, replacements are free and can be obtained at your local post office (another reason I love to use USPS).

  • After receiving your package, I will contact you (via e-mail) and snail mail you a refund check made out to the original purchasor and send it to the original shipping address.

  • I will then follow up at 3 to 4 day intervals (or until I hear from you) to verify that you have received the check and that all is now in order.
